No, actually. There are some points that are a little bland, or it feels like they're trying just a bit too hard to be funny, but there are parts that genuinely made me laugh. The movie does not take itself seriously at all, so as long as you don't either, it's fun
The #MinecraftMovie is actually better than I ever thought it was going to be. It's very much a "turn your brain off and you'll enjoy it" kind of movie, but there's definitely love put into it, and it's pretty funny if you don't take it too seriously. I'd honestly say give it a shot.
