If you're wondering why I've been doing "DM to claim" posts instead of just listing paintings in my online shop...
It's because Venmo has less fees and I don't have to take time out of my day to do professional photographs. This allows me to sell them for less and quickly homes for studies.

A striking bird with deep blue wings, chestnut flanks, and a long pointed bill perches among dense green foliage. Pale silvery plumes extend from its head and neck, and its feathers shimmer with fine detail.
The Agami Herons are very busy right now collecting twigs for their nests. One adult will collect sticks and then the mates will debate the best location for said twig. I'm going to spend some time over the next few weeks documenting the nesting of these amazing birds.

The sign was on the door to my friend Smalls’ room. He has been there for a long time. 😢 He can be shy with new people but once he trusts you he’s a total love bug.
Slightly misspelled sign written by a child in green marker that says “adopt me or else!” But else is spelled e l e s.
Some kids made adoption signs to hang up around the shelter. Most of them were cute and sweet but I greatly enjoy this straight up threat.
