Well the Swifts never came, despite several years of lure calls. So Nuthatch has claimed them both. Finished renovating the left one by blocking the hole smaller with mud. Same Nuthatch has now started on the other. Zoom in to see.

Over winter and just up the lane from me (S.Ceredigion) is what I can only call a Kite lek. About 40 kites floating above a small patch of land incl just one tree all whistling like crazy. They were there reliably every day. Dispersed a little now.
