it's "find a way to extract the internal ROM from an ancient NEC microcontroller" time again, now featuring the uPD7801

running at 2x the maximum clock rate makes it glitch into executing from external memory very quickly, but the fun part will be figuring out how to control it after that

They are multiple 128-height midtextures "stacked" (layered closely together) to create the impression of singularly tall textures. Vanilla doom can only support textures that are 128 tall before they tile, so this becomes necessary for the effect.

Also only now noticing that I left the default doom2 map21 music in the video lol, since I usually have sound off while I do stuff. That's not the actual music (or likely even the slot) for the map. Just how I test it.

Added wall texture scaling to EE. Last I tackled this was 2019 and I got stuck on masked midtextures at the time.
This time I did masked midtextures first and once I had that figured out everything fell into place.

Skin        - GoogonWoah
Description - Gift Skin I made for Aquasa as part of the GSquad set. Aquasa's
		      favored skin in ye olde (well not that olde) days was the quadguy
			  from Complex Doom, so that was the primary source of inspiration
			  for the skin. The secondary source was, well, agua. Water. It 
			  also fits smoothly into Aquasa's motif since he moves like water.
			  Just watch his speedruns for proof.

Skin        - GafasoHey
Description - Gift Skin I made for Hozen as part of the GSquad set. An abstract creature
              inspired by the early CG creatures in Hell2Pay, which were 
			  enemies Hozen was pretty fond of from that wad. Also glasses, 
			  which is a loose reference to Hozen putting glasses on various
              of his characters and avatars. This creature was made almost 
			  entirely in UDB. A living 2.5D being!!

Description - Gift Skin I made for Playe as part of the GSquad set. Playe 
			  likes Nuclear Throne, and more specifically, he likes Y.V. from
			  Nuclear Throne. Therefore I decided to design a chibi character
			  that seemed like one that'd fit into that universe. Meet Sphellowow
			  the arcane mathemagician who is also a sphere(!)

Chrizz, now the sole developer of SAMMI, saying: I want to clarify some things and I apologize ahead of time if this sounds rude.

It's still work in the progress but since people seem to have complaints about allowing AI in SAMMI.

AI has always been a thing in SAMMIs source code itself.

SAMMI is a tool that allows the users to do whatever they want with it.
The change the previous DEV Team made about forbidding AI art will be reverted, but there will be the necessity to let people know if you use AI art.
I also will revert some other changes like the extension policy.

Why am I doing this?
It's easy, because every person should be able to decide on their own if they want to use AI or not as well as if they want to support AI.
If you can not respect this decission, it's ok.
Everyone can have their own oppinion about this and if your oppinion is different, feel free to no longer support or use SAMMI.

The new sole developer is extremely pro-AI, has already started using it in the code, and is in support of its use for genAI images as well. Everyone who protested this was told to leave the server and stop using SAMMI.
