SEATTLE WASHINGTON SHOWED UP!!! ✊
To the world:
We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom.
—With love,
Your American allies.

Being disabled isn’t some abstract concept. It’s not a moral failing. It’s not something you can “try harder” their way out of.
It’s something that can happen to anyone at any time.
Once it happens to you, you will understand how little support exists. Help us & your future self will thank you.
Not being able to talk to a real person at the Social Security Administration when you need help or your local office closing due to staffing cuts is a benefit cut—point blank.
Elon needs to get his hands OFF Social Security.
Repost if you agree.

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."
—FDR, 1937
Why didn’t your peers walk out when Rep. Al Green was removed? Why didn’t they heckle and disrupt so much they all had to be removed? This is the energy we are looking for
Amen! Unfortunately, they are quietly listening right now. I do appreciate they aren’t clapping at all, but it’s not enough.
Please text your friends in the chamber to keep disrupting and don’t stop! Make the tyrants drag them out of Congress!
I don’t know who is being hauled out of the state of the union right now, but I love him. Also, as a fellow cane user, I love seeing some one else disabled like me stand up to what’s wrong.
Haha save what?? My SSDI checks are tiny. If I didn’t live with family, about 70% would go to rent. 10-20% to medical expenses depending on the month. If I had to pay rent, I wouldn’t be able to feed myself. Save what?! 😖
♿Social Security is NOT just for Seniors. It's also for people like me with Disabilities, people who receive Survivors Benefits & Veterans who receive Social Security benefits.
Before I became disabled, I PAID into the program with EVERY paycheck. There are MILLIONS more like me & it is OUR MONEY!♿
Screenshot of a bar plot showing the number of publications per year for the search “chronic fatigue syndrome”. There has been a distinct rise since 2020.
Definitely feeling like I’m seeing more research on ME/CFS than ever before.
In 2024 there was an average of 56 papers published per month for “chronic fatigue syndrome” [based on PubMed].
In the two months of 2025 so far there have been 143, which is 71.5 per month.
Figure 4 from the We Crunch ME report showing the US disease burden of selected diseases. The figure is a bar plot showing the disease burden calculated in disability adjusted life years. The calculated burden of ME/CFS is almost twice that of Parkinson’s and four times that of multiple sclerosis. The estimated burden of long covid is far greater, and is comparable to diabetes.
This is positive, but is still shockingly below levels for other severe diseases.
For example, Parkinson’s disease had 10,784 papers published on it in 2024 alone, and 2,177 in the first two months of 2025.
Yet the disease burden of ME/CFS is significantly greater
Fucking bullies. As an American who actually loves democracy, I am so ashamed right now of these embarrassing so-called leaders.
God I miss pizza so much. I get similar hangovers from certain foods, including dairy and chocolate. This disease is so cruel
As someone on SSDI, I can attest that it’s already hard enough to get approved and get help when needed. These cuts and lay offs are incredibly cruel to our most vulnerable neighbors
I think we are entitled to health insurance because health care is a human right
TOMORROW- Friday, February 28th is BLACKOUT FRIDAY!
If you believe we are in danger of losing our Democracy forever, FIGHT BACK!
Let's make our voices heard in numbers too big to ignore.
JOIN US if you've had it with Comrade Krasnov. 🤬 🇷🇺

This is f*cked up
Defending other women is always worth the spoons
I may be disabled but she’s not going down. Watch out for my cane, blackshirts
Listening to you speak out about Joy Reid and your other POC colleagues. Thank you!
