I saw this recently

Much as I love my Christmas tree and other decorations, there is a certain contentment than comes with putting everything away in January.

Probably my favourite weather phenomenon in Jamaica is Christmas Breeze. Nothing better than that sound and feeling, it instantly relaxs me.

I woke up to several notices from my credit card about purchases I hadn't made. They were pending so easy to reject, but had to cancel my card. Well, being without my card is one way to limit my christmas spending!

I think waze has an unrealistic concept of how quickly potholes are fixed. It keeps asking me if the pothole is still there, as it is was a temporary road feature like a broken down car.

How long is it acceptable to have a customer wait to speak to an agent on the phone? And is it shorter if you are being subjected to repetitive annoying music?

Yes, apparently taxis have a different version of the Road Traffic Act to us. And the roads will only get crazier for the rest of the year.

It's under a month to Christmas. I have started playing Christmas music in my usual way - with listening to Handel's Messiah the whole way through.

Patience with this gorgeous lady is paying off. When we got her from JSPCA last year, she didnt come out from her hiding space for weeks. Now she comes for gentle strokes and politely miaows for attention.

All is good now. Just to catch up on what he missed!

The big kid is off school for a 2nd day not well. He wanted to go to schooland I had to say no (has a fever) which I'm thrilled about as it shows how well he's adjusted to high school life!

After all the PEP stress, he is at the right school. Phew!
