im glad i was able to help! again, i super appreciate u asking. its not often i get to talk about stuff like this, so this was a nice chance to express some of the feelings and reasons behind what i do

for some of my friends, thats the case. i can't speak for everyone tho. as for the music, ive been a huge fan of bands like my chemical romance, escape the fate, and other stuff in that genre since i was a kid. as ive gotten older, ive started actually going to shows for the ones that still tour too

-im participating in something i missed out on, as well as contributing creatively to a culture that i admire. to myself and many of my friends, ABDL is about reclaiming the childhood we wish we had. for me, that includes emo themes.

i appreciate u asking, no disrespect taken. emo as a culture has always been something ive massively respected. the music, the fashion, and everything else it encompasses are all things i wish i had taken part in around the mid 00s. when i including these themes in my art, i do so both to feel like-

oh yeah, its 100% the coolest thing to me. i never fit in at school, so embracing whatever was counterculture at the time was always what grabbed my attention. i think thats part of the DL tie-in too. wearing a diaper and rubbing it (metaphorically!) in someone's face like "look how weird i am!!"

a few things! there's the overlap between emo and rave culture, and rave culture is a weird second distant cousin to DL stuff in my mind. emo was also a scene i was super interested in as a kid, but never had the confidence to explore. exploring it thru art lets me feel like im making up for it!
