The Truer than You exhibition is up in the art gallery at Kulturhuset in Kungsängen! It will be up during the #KingCon convention and one more week! ✨
Being part of making that happen through our project is one of the things that has brought me the absolute most joy in the whole process. Hearing Susanna and Douglas do the songs live during the release party was pure magic - and all the variants of Flowers always bring tears to my eyes 😍
Both sketches of Void and Flowers were part of my favourite suggested tracks, long before the vocals were added, but with vocals they are something completely different. I’m in awe of the talent of Douglas and Susanna, and it’s hard to believe that we are so lucky to have those songs in the game.
Even though we followed the process from the beginning, it was super interesting to get a more in-depths description of how these songs came to life and what they are containing sound-wise.
Douglas Holmquist posted a video about the process of making the two songs in Truer than You that have vocals by Susanna Lundgren.

Real life conversation inspired us a lot in Truer than You, and we built the system and dialogue to be realistic and to offer the player as much agency as possible - but there are always limitations in game dev...
- and you can use knowledge from linguistics and other research fields to inform (for instance) which dialogue options you offer the player
