When I was let go from a job I had for many years after massive firings, the people I spoke with daily all but disappeared. One random guy in the graphics team, who I hardly ever even spoke with, reached out to me on Facebook wishing me well, and honestly it meant the world to me at the time.

This comment section is why indies are dying. We tell the consumer our budgets are too low. we can’t “save the industry.” They ignore the expert and continue insist that we can with “innovation“ barking inaccurate YouTuber opinions and fallacies.

How sad the next 3-5 years of games will be.

What do you think about "design your own units" systems in RTS games?

Personally, I can't help but prefer both either a well designed faction with deep systems, or a "loadout" system where you can pick from a selection of pre-defined units.

That being said, I DO love Earth 2150.
