Home and wanted the dust to settle before I commented
But how did we lose today
Yes the ref was shit as expected but that was the worst red shite team I’ve seen in years
Thought we played well but my biggest gripe is we didn’t make their 3rd choice keeper make a save
That game was there to be won

I hope the rumours we’re interested in Ben White are bollocks, he’s shite the permatanned cunt

At least Southampton look like they’re offering more of a fight than the other 2 underdogs in today’s quarter finals

Out of office on until the 21st. I am back from holiday the Friday before the Derby but have taken the Monday off as I couldn’t face the first day back after a 2 week break with a bad hangover

He didn’t know he was getting banned until the police and stewards came and escorted him from his seat

Anyone see that fella get thrown out the North Stand block 19 last night
His mate said they told him he was banned due to swearing at the Spurs game
Don’t know if there is more to it but out of order if true
Especially for that game as we were shite and Pawson was ref, any one of us could be next

Been quick to criticise McNeil in the past but credit where credits due he played well tonight
Let’s hope we now get more of that

It’s actually easier to get out the ground after a win

Here’s hoping tomorrow is the last midweek evening home game for the rest of the season
Whilst parking and getting away isn’t as big a problem as I feared, I just miss the meeting up for a few pre match pints in town and on the walk down, that you get from weekend games

I heard that from behind me last night

Fucking strange shout that, assumed he was pissed

Can’t believe that less than a week after saying, this not only is it true but someone has paid £20m for him

Thanks for your goals when we needed them most Dwight, but this is the best deal for all involved

Wow can’t believe it actually happened

We’re all sitting here hoping in 30 minutes time to see those 4 magic words “Dwight McNeil” and “Deal Sheet”

2 months ago 2 0 2 0

Dibbling is a 19 year old kid clearly lacking confidence, the crowd moaning isn’t helping
Yes we paid a lot but we need to get behind him and not right him off
Two away games coming up so let’s play him, his better performances have come away, hopefully get some confidence before next home game

I know I’ve said this before, but surely this time, that has got to be the last we have to put up with McNeil strolling about in an Everton shirt

As does N’diaye. Everyone else hides and don’t want the ball

3 months ago 1 0 0 0

Lack of movement when we have the ball is unacceptable
No wonder we always go back to start again or just lump it long in hope to a player who can’t control a ball so it just comes straight back
Players hide instead of supporting and providing an option
We are also so slow when we do try and break

I get we’re at bare bones with players available but I at least expect effort

Anzou showed more intent than those who started ahead of him

I don’t want to jump on the back of the new signings and want to give them time but that wasn’t acceptable

And don’t get me started on McNeill

Normally get the train to town, couple of pints and walk down but had to try something different Monday and drove in. That was no where near as bad as I expected
No time for a pint in town this morning so heading straight to Sandhills, so will get to see if all the moaning about that is warranted

Just recruited someone who’s cv and personal statement was awful but I could tell they probably had what I wanted in what they were trying to say, albeit badly
Turned out he was dyslexic and no one had ever told him how bad his cv was, he just kept getting rejected when applying.

55 and not won the FA cup since 95 and yet I still think about what I wear on 3rd Round Day, so I can wear it again in May for the final

3 months ago 4 0 1 0

Was worried about driving the match after everything I’d read on here but the walk was no longer than what we had at Goodison and it was easier to get away, so home quicker
Only highlight of the night that

I think the whole ground will be getting warning letters for swearing after that ref

Not sure what I’m more angry about walking back to the car, the officials or the fact McNeill lasted as long as he did
I’m siding with the latter as at least that was in our control to do something about

3 months ago 1 0 0 0

Agree, he wasn’t great and clearly lacking confidence but every time he got the ball they doubled up on him and he didn’t have an overlapping fullback to pull one away

In the 1st half our movement was non existent no one showing for the ball and supporting the attack The only option was to go back

3 months ago 3 0 0 0

I agree but unfortunately he was always going to play Keane if he was fit, he just doesn’t trust Patterson
A proper Right Back improves that team so much

3 months ago 1 0 0 0

Also it’s not the reason we lost but how shite was Taylor as a ref
