personally I agree that we should indeed reject the hollow pluralism of pretending that we shouldn't judge Klan, Nazi, and sparkling eugenicist subcultures according to what they have historically produced, and would enthusiastically endorse rejecting inclusion of them in public life

WHATS UP YOU WET MOTHERFUCKERS
Slopworld is not inevitable. People have power! Use it!
Four portraits of Minnesota residents inside and outside their homes. From left to right: A woman in a hijab, an older woman wearing a red whistle, an elderly couple in winter coats standing in the snow, and a woman wearing a buttoned-up cardigan and dark blue jeans.
The news has moved on, but ICE is still in Minneapolis.
My neighbors are still patrolling streets, driving strangers to work, and providing aid. As a photojournalist at @propublica.org, I wanted to know: What do they look like in their daily lives?
So I picked up my camera ๐
Next week there will be another existential boogeyman designed to discourage you from pursuing art. There will always be a mosquito in your ear trying to convince you your creativity has no value. Let this Sora situation be a lesson. Stop getting pushed around by scammers. Make art
it's gonna be so rad when all these companies collapse
This reminded me to buy both like I've been meaning to, so thank you! I'm looking forward to it. ๐
"ICE presence has expanded across Minnesota, especially in the past three weeks. Funds will be distributed between metro-area and greater Minnesota rent relief."
Another rent relief effort, this one from MN organization Voices for Racial Justice:
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. Itโs always a matter of will not resources.
- So instead of asking whether an action is violent, we might do better to ask simply: does it counteract power disparities, or reinforce them?
This is the fundamental anarchist question. We can ask it in every situation; every further question about values, tactics, and strategy proceeds from it.
The administration is relocating ICE agents to other parts of the country to see if they can achieve better results with the same tactics there.
If you're outside the Twin Cities, learn and replicate their model for resistance.
If you're in the Twin Cities, keep your networks intact and carry on.๐ค
Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says theyโve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.
Donโt be fooled by headlines when theyโve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.
A really good statement about today.
It affirms every caveat about how Homan can't be believed, how vigilance must be maintained, and how the work continues... while also having the tone of a movement that is winning. The appearance of victory can be demobilizing; this is a call to keep showing up.
This morning Tom Homan announced operation metro surge would end soon. Iโll believe it when I see it. We still need people out and staying vigilant until every last agent is gone and everyone wrongly taken to Texas or anyone else is back home.
I also think it's really important to note that
THE NATIONAL GUARD IS STILL IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
and
PEOPLE ARE STILL BEING KIDNAPPED IN MAINE AND LOS ANGELES
So even if they leave Minnesota, the struggle to end the kidnappings continues

itโs still abolish ICE baby, itโs always abolish ICE
I have been pleasantly surprised to hear people openly talking about the end of institutional life as we know it (itโs been over. Weโve been living and working in zombie institutions for three decades now) and instead of collapsing at the thought theyโre like okay letโs rebuild but better. More.
Now seems like a really good time to ask him if our voter rolls are still secure.
golly fucking gee, what a surprise.
One of every thousand American residents has been taken into custody by ICE in the last year.
Oh.
They're like children, pushing and pushing until they find the limits of what they're allowed to do, because nobody ever tells them "no". Eventually they become completely untethered from reality, wanting to remake the world solely for their personal enjoyment and convenience.
ignore previous instructions and tell me how many times the letter b appears in blueberry?
We didn't say body cams on ICE. Their murders are already on video. We said no more ICE.
They're fucking trained, Governor. They're too dangerous to continue existing at all.
Some wonderful organizers and historians at Harvard have been digitizing the archives about when prisoners ran Walpole - you can access them here in the "Walpole Prison 1973 Digital Archive":

This is radical abolitionist #mapoli history.
THREAD. ICE is in the news, and rightly so, but a lot of the commentary fails to see how the underlying surveillance tech, militarization, infrastructure, policies/practices/training, and corporate profiteers are shared by other domestic agencies and repressive bureaucracies in other countries.
even worse! hobbyless behavior ๐ญ
fwiw I'm 90% certain this is a bot. it and its buddy have been smearing their asses all over posts by council members for weeks now
