My revisit of my 2012 Upton Jazz Festival Diary reaches its conclusion. In which I attend a gig by a band from Brum, recall a late night chat with Acker Bilk, admit to my fear of Fanny, and possibly mention a beer or two.

After a reasonably relaxed Sunday service, I settle down in my onsite digs planning to read a few chapters of my book. Realise, I have left the bloody thing at home.
As my Upton Jazz 2012 Festival enters the final day, I find myself pondering the connection between Dr Claw and Fats Waller, the trouble with adapting a big band showcase number to a trio, and if the audience did give the band the Clap... on beats 2 & 4.

My diary for the second day of the 2012 Upton Jazz Festival (or should that be Fez-tival) concludes. In which I attended an impromptu gig, meet a likely lad in a bar, and have a sudden urge to strut my funky stuff...

I continue my trip back down memory lane to @UptonJazz 2012, looking at memories of the Jazz parade, ponder if the Blue Monday Jazz Quartet were fans of Zippy & Bungle.

Nahh, it's 5/4 time or nothing
I continue my Upton Jazz Festival memories for Jazz Appreciation Month as I look back at the second half of the first day of the 2012 festival.

To mark another day in Jazz Appreciation Month I have compiled a playlist of Big Band Jazz and Swing from across the decades.

Part one of my diary for the first day of @UptonJazz Festival 2012. In which rain half stopped play but the show still went on, and you might mistake this for a beer guide at times

My distinct memory of Daleks: The Early Years was the line
"The Daleks episode 1: The Dead City." Even 10 year old me shook his head at that.
Finished watching "Edge of Darkness" last night. Enjoyed it immensely and wasn't quite expecting it to end the way it did. I would say that the series wasn't what I expected, but since I wasn't really sure what to be expecting that might seem odd, but it certainly went directions unexpected.
Well, in a later incarnation, he prioritised getting changed and finding a new sonic over dealing with the dwindling oxygen levels in the TARDIS
Probably because the netting was showing a bit
I believe there may also have been a note from the 5th floor about not having a contemporary companion. Gerald Savory sent a not complaining about Sara & Steven not knowing about cricket in episode 8.
I believe there were memos sent in regards to Hartnell's hair
As Jazz Appreciation Month continues, I will be revisting my journal for the 2012 Upton Jazz Festival.
Here is little precursor of what is to come.

Just watched the returned Daleks' Master Plan episodes. Splendid all round.
Observations, Hartnell has a bit of wig trouble in both episodes.
Hartnell and Hill are a great team, such a pity Tosh & Wiles lost their nerve with the character.
Jazz Appreciation Month continues with me dipping into my album collection and looking at Old Blue Eyes tribute to the Band Leader who helped make him a success. Is this album made of win or is Sinatra swung out?

Well after much procrastination, I am finally pushing on with putting pen to paper and writing my magnificent octopus.
Push the books akin to the Missing Adventures/Past Doctor Adventures.
Perhaps, but wouldn't it make sense for the books to be pushed as *being* Doctor Who between series?
Having been a Who fan that grew up in the Wilderness Years, it seems odd to me that the New Adventures/EDAs and Missing Adventures/PDAs had a much bigger presence on the shelves at the book shops then the current books do.
...so a hologram, a robot, a cat... tel me does she have a student who identifies as the last human as well????
Interesting choice for top spot, and I am a little surprised at the bottom entry considering your title...
BONUS BOX...!!!
Ahead of starting Series B this weekend, here's a rundown of Series A: thoughts on the series as a whole so far, with the all important Series A rankings.

Izzy- colleague at work walks in on me in cellar quietly singing a "West Side Story" medley under my breath... 'Micheal, are you singing "I Feel Pretty???"
Me: *in best Monoid voice* Erm... No.
