I know ! I have been battling this point a lot. I don't post on twitter anymore after it being an absolute wonderful thing for a decade. It's too desolate here and almost no traction in casual or scientific topics. And to be honest linkedin is excelling. I think I got most of my papers from there

I think this is also massively driven by the PI, Field and institute. In the field of AI we have definitely sacrificed scientific progress for publishing milestones sadly
