AFAIC: People, collectively, haven't reached the prefrontal cortex maturation point that usually happens around age 25.

So while Chappelle is correct that people don't hold certain well placed people or businesses morally accountable, there are plenty of people who try to.
And by giving up the moral high ground for a bag. Because somebody else is doing it. That's a cop out.
So we can't cancel the president or politicians. We can't cancel our government. We can't cancel corporations.
But we can try to cancel actors or comedians or athletes.
For every Eric Swalwell who resigns from public pressure, there are 10 members of the Epstein class who go unpunished.
What Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr and all the Ridyah comedians need to understand. It ain't a black thing as Dave recently tried to paint it as. Maybe it is for a sliver for folks pushing back on him.
What it's about is we live in a society where the peoples outrage has little to no bearing.
I suppose this form of media is for the people who enjoy swatting away a bee from their face for an extended period
The genre of everyone's a fucking emotional menace, where anxiety drives the plot. Think Uncut Gems or If I Had Legs, I'd Kick You.
I'm over it. Being annoying for 90 minutes isn't my idea of entertainment.

Fruit gifting is part of Japanese culture. A high-end luxury. A citrus fruit for $20. A $200 melon, and so on.
Beg pardon?
We have to separate the people from their oppressors.
For those who view the US as the world's most "free" country, there is a stark difference between our internal lives, how we feel about our country, what we would like to see changed and the heavy hand of our politics.
The No Kings protest can serve as a reminder that it is important to separate a population from its government.
I'm sure many folks from other nations view Americans as idiots by extension because of Trump.
So when we talk about North Koreans or Russians or Iranians or Israelis and so on...
Chilli, no. Not Chilli.
