when someone says "a whole civilization will die tonight" usually you lock them up in some facility. anyway, great job, media.
How stupid of me to think we could all come together as a nation for 10 FUCKING DAYS and focus on some good news.
The inner child in me is giddy for witnessing a crewed lunar mission in my lifetime. Unreal.
The actual adult me is sad/angry because the narcissist-in-charge decided to threaten nuclear war if the country he picked a fight with doesn't surrender immediately on his terms. Unreal.
Today I'm working at the medical center in Houston. We're currently showing a live stream of open heart surgery happening in Germany. The doctors here are asking questions (in real time) to the surgeon with his hands in an open chest over 5,000 miles away. Wild.
At some point the peanut gallery got louder than the performance. And we wonder why we've lost the plot.
Finally got a copy of this one. Very excited to read it!
Be right back, gonna snuggle up to the void and whisper encouraging things into its ears

Correct, the pizza goes IN the ranch. Not the other way around
I like that "hustle" has a silent T in the middle. It looks like a plus sign, and any good hustler knows some unspoken positivity is essential to the hustle.
Do you know who's often credited as the first person to do a reverse echo effect in the recording studio?
Jimmy Page lol back in 1967 when he was still with The Yardbirds, a song called "Ten Little Indians"
Every time I hear Eno talk I get inspired. This is a great chat. So cool getting to see inside his studio too

"another day in paradise" has always bothered me as a response
this place *IS* a fkn paradise. we hit the cosmic lottery being alive here/now. we have plenty of resources for us all to live in paradise.. but we idolize the rich as we struggle to survive, then make jokes about our wasted potential
Wait is "growing up" just getting more comfortable being uncomfortable?
no notes is hands down the best note
Woke up in Dallas, drove to Houston, now flying to Chicago. Long day but it'll be worth it when I send these mf INVOICES bebe
Kinda wild that recorded audio has only existed for 140 years, and that's going all the way back to the tinfoil cylinder phonograph. The LP wasn't a thing until 1948, at which point my grandparents were already 8 years old.
I was nervous about moving to Houston as a freelancer, but it feels good to make new connections. And so the network grows.
New studio is slowly starting to take shape and it feels good. Next up is acoustic treatment.
Never thought I'd have to look up explainer videos for a Super Bowl halftime show as if it was a Marvel movie. The bar has been raised.
Imagine a dream camera that synced to real life and let you take video/pictures while dreaming
