yea, I definitely learned in increments how I like my teas and which spices I can leave in to steep longer, which ones turn bitter etc

ah, going full temperature and steep time control? I'll admit I usually eyeball it - just before the kettle comes to a roll for black teas and just when the first whisps of steam come up for the green teas. I'm sure that's offensive to the more cultured tea-people :D

I started making my own blends in the pandemic and like to make little themed "collections" - like one for every aspect of the Enhance Ability DnD spell
