Here are the 14 previous keystone mounts that are likely to return.
I'm guessing the earlier "challenge mode" mounts (phoenixes from Pandaria and yeti from Warlords) won't be included, and they haven't been mentioned.

A 2x2 montage of four goblin shreddertank colours from The War Within. These are four-legged mechanical walkers/fliers built in crude goblin style with a vaguely spiderlike framework. The front cockpit area has a goblin-like face of metal, with headlights for eyes. The leg joints have saw blades attached. There are smoky copper exhaust pipes emerging from the rear, abdomen-like section. The colours are (left to right, top to bottom): blue, purple, yellow, green.
Finally, we have four unused shreddertank colours from The War Within!
Shreddertanks were only ever used for Season 2, so there were a number of colours left over.
The second is this amethyst mechsuit from The War Within.
However, this model has also been used for non-keystone rewards (the Light-Forged Mechsuit from the Midnight intro) so it's hard to be sure if this one will be included or used elsewhere.

The first unused keystone mount was this blue deathwalker from Shadowlands. Its palette wasn't all that different to another keystone mount from that expansion so it was skipped at the time.

I'm curious if they'll be offering recolours that haven't appeared in the database before, or if they're just referring to those that have.
As far as I can tell there are 6 unused looks already in the database: 1 Deathwalker, 1 Crystal Mechsuit, and 4 Goblin Shreddertanks.

I should stress, this isn't a jab at the use of auras on all mounts. Many are designed from the start to have glows that enhance their appearance and they can look amazing.
I'm more frustrated when the aura is added afterwards and obscures the design. I find them kind of boring and cheap.
Yep! That mount (and the void equivalent) were built from the start to have auras over them. In those cases the aura was designed to enhance the underlying colours, rather than despite them!
I know I haven't been subtle about my disappointment with 'aura' mounts, where existing mounts have a monochrome or dichrome aura slapped over them and presented as new. To me they obscure the quality of the original design and the effects seem fairly artless. But I hope others find joy in them.

Yeah, it's surprising really that they didn't create a mount from this model.
A new leatherworking mount is coming in 12.0.5. But this one's a bit odd.
Thematically, the leatherworker creates a harness not the mount ✔️
But of a huge no. mounts they could have used, someone picked a non-mount model that doesn't even have a harness! 🤔

It could be! But the fact it's been added to the Classic database as well makes me wonder if it's something promotional, or a shop item. Something that encompasses both games, anyway!
Yeah, they're in both databases. So, unless it's an accident it must be for some feature both games share.

I'm uncertain how it's going to be implemented.
It's in both retail and classic databases, and just decrypted in the latest Classic. So, maybe a promotional or a 💰mount?
My guess is the "curated" bit will be so they can change them up over seasons and generate at least some FOMO.
A blue post indicates new mount rewards are being added to M+ for people who are particularly devoted to running dungeons over & over & over & over.
The good news is that a "curated selection" of previous M+ mounts can be earned through this system, too.
