Right. With a weapon he was allowed to carry, that was never in his hand. A 9mm handgun against a bunch of people with rifle plates carrying long guns. He was pushed down, tear gassed, pistol whipped, & killed for trying to help a woman. He posed no threat to them.

Dr. Deb Houry (resigned from CDC yesterday) is giving live media interviews now outside the CDC. From what I can hear, she's speaking forcefully in favor of public health and against the nonsense the CDC is facing.

Understand: She is a very cautious person.

I agree! Hopefully we can keep it a safe space for all, a place for discussion, communication and discourse, a resource. Somewhere to avoid the trolls, avoid the censorship. A place where we can rally together, support one another, and weather (and hopefully overcome) this current reality.

Thank you. It does take a bit to get used to, but at least they're making improvements and developing the platform. It has a far more friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and more kind, caring, rational, logical, and intelligent people keep joining, so I'm happy to see that and happy to be here.
