Took the cats for walks today in their backpacks. Stressed them out a bit but not badly. Cross fingers it gets easier on them. It seemed to help that they could see each other and one of their other humans. Two people went much better than one.

And dynamic pricing is when they track your data and change the price just for you. I watched the price of a food item I bought over six months from Amazon go up as I purchased it again and again. Funny how the price started at half of the local store and ended up higher than the local store.

That's data collection. Why would I download and app and take extra time shopping to scan, and then have that app doing who knows what with my device that goes everywhere with me? So you can have more data on me? Have you heard of "dynamic pricing"?

Grocery store, namely Jewel's, has these signs up saying sign up for this app and then scan and you can get xyz price. OR pay a lot more. If it were a sale on a couple items, whatever, but it looked like half or more of the produce section. That's not a sale.

Been here, seen this. Absolutely beautiful.

Do all the things when you're 27. It's almost time for cherry blossoms. I went picnicking under sakura trees when I was twenty-seven. Highly suggest it. Here in Chicago you can do it at the Botanical gardens and I think Jackson Park, though I haven't checked the second out out yet.

Took me years to get organized and then I just got stressed out and standardized. No new versions till next Jan

Got the cats a strong new scratching post that's actually the size of a post and almost as high as my waist. They seem very pleased with it. Fixing the bird feeder has also injected entertainment into their lives. They are dove stocking again. The doves are very brave. They've figured out the glass

That is weird

It does. I schedule "brain time" now to let my subconscious play with the story without pressure. It does amazing things for words actually spreading over the page during writing time.

My cat is lying on his back in his bed, looking like a Victorian painting. He's so adorable. I, however, am sick in bed and he's been very nice to me and just hung out. The other cat is acting like me, avoiding food and sleeping. But she always does that when the weather fluxates by 50 degrees F!
