I have voted twice to advance articles of impeachment. We cannot wait. Congress must convene immediately and begin proceedings to remove this man from office for the safety of our nation, Americans, and the world.

Something about the expectation that historians and genealogists and researchers (who are mostly women in these fields) provide unpaid and unrecognized labor is pretty triggering 😐

I have an idea for a Mormon gossip podcast called Like Unto a Dish. Yes this is very niche but who’s with me?

I have few regrets in this life, but one of the biggest was not buying this Nicholas Cage cross stitch when I was at the D.I. yesterday.

In these uncertain times it’s a comfort to know I can always count on the absolute stranglehold Lifetouch has on school pictures. After all these years, it’s still one take and hope for the best, suckers.

Does anyone else add their loved one’s location to their weather app? I suppose it’s nice to know, and helps me feel connected via someone else’s rainy or sunny skies.

Vice President Harris and Douglas Emhoff watch fireworks at the White House on July 4, 2024.

This Fourth of July, I am taking a moment to reflect. Things are hard right now. They are probably going to get worse before they get better.

But I love our country — and when you love something, you fight for it. Together, we will continue to fight for the ideals of our nation.

Our daughter receives Utah Medicaid through the Medically Complex Children’s Waiver. We’d be bankrupt w/out it. To keep it, we must submit a report every month and a multi-page, handwritten application every year. I can barely keep up. It’s built to be hard, and it’s going to get so much harder 😔

Or even last year. I understand the draw, but was unprepared for the alarming reliance on and deference to chapGPT. Letting a human have the last word was too much to bear.

New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays.

Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn.
