Please help us spread the word, as this will be the first year of our program.
If you have any questions, please reach out!
This is a two year, paid program (with benefits!). It is ideal for someone who would like to go to graduate or medical school.
It was wonderful to develop the curriculum for this program (travel! research! clinical experiences!) and I can't wait to see who applies (applications due 4/18/25).
Now more than ever, I'm excited to announce the launch of the MGH - American Cancer Society HEROIC Scholars Post-Baccalaureate Training Program!
Grateful to the ACS's Diversity In Cancer Research Program for the funding and resolute commitment to this program!

I am excited to finally be able to share with you our work reporting the first Extracellular Vesicle with a personality! This video does not show a cell, it is a Blebbisome! #CellBiology

I target a score between 50 and 70 on Flesch-Kincaid readability tests. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flesch%...
I'd love to know if other folks use this (or what else they use to make sure they hit the right level).
I typically share this text readability calculator with folks I'm mentoring for grant writing. I use it frequently to make sure my layperson abstracts or summaries read at the right level.
Sharing it here in case it is helpful for others. goodcalculators.com/flesch-kinca...
Thanks for highlighting our work, @atranscendedman.bsky.social!
Will share more soon on how this work came about (and how we had to challenge many conventions, such as 'there are no viral particles in blood'). Done in partnership with @gmboland.bsky.social. Extra thanks to @adarshc.bsky.social
Research and personal life collided when my friend shared that her daughter Leah was battling Medulloblastoma.
Despite the past few weeks being very difficult, Leah created this video. They are wanting to see how many views Leah can get before Christmas! Please share

Found this downstairs today and started to wonder if perhaps I'm bringing my 7 year old to lab too often.
