Keep up the great work really like your art and games, is there another Black Pudding coming along this year?

That was an awesome layout. The terrain and figures looked amazing.
Check out Druskara: A Brutal World Setting for use with Shadowdark RPG on @BackerKit! www.backerkit.com/c/projects/d...
That's great news, well done and looking forwards to the final product.
Interesting set of rules, on this one, does the healing still take affect if you miss the CON check?
Healing Magic Limitation: After that, any additional healing will require a successful DC 15 CON check or incur 1d2 CON damage and a level of Exhaustion. CON damage will last until a full Rest
It seems to work better face to face than online, trying to do it with a VTT when you aren't in a close combat situation leads to confusion with the light sources and slows things down.
Halfling Thief takes out the Witch!
The climax of our Shadowdark adventure in the sewers. With two of the party down and the Wizard lost we were in trouble. My Halfling Thief took out the Witch just in time and then stabilised everyone! #Shadowdark #OSR
I really enjoyed the Podcasts and this game really isn't my sort of thing but I'm interested to see how it works out for your trainee witch.
It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. particularly if you like detailed character options, subclasses and that sort of things.
I’m very impressed with Shadowdark. Its simplicity, speed and mechanisms building time and resource pressure are great. You should give it a try.
Elf Seer triggers a trapped statue
A close call for our Elf Seer in the Saturday Shadowdark game, my Wizard tried to warn her but too late and she triggered a trap. We revived her with her death timer on 1!! #shadowdarkrpg #shadowdark
You should give it a try, its great fun and easy to start playing.
Great article, I started listening to GCN when they started playing Shadowdark and am enjoying all their shows. They definitely capture the spirit of the games they play and one of the few shows I listen to that makes me laugh out loud.
two players is tough, did you use pulp mode? Otherwise they may need some help.
We’ve got 4 players at the moment, with two players you’ll be best off in Pulp mode p.117 I think (1d4 luck tokens per session) or else you’ll find it very hard.
Halfling thief doing some sewer fishing
This week my Halfling Thief and his Dwarf Priest friend were down the sewers, I knew that grappling hook would come in handy for a bit of fishing!! #Shadowdark
It was on the Arcane Library Discord. I'm very tempted to subscribe to get their Twilight 2000 series. Even enjoying them rolling up Traveller characters..
I hope you and your group enjoy Shadowdark, its definitely my favourite system at the moment.
Same as I thought, if you approach it like a 5E game you're gonna get rinsed..
Its very good, I'd not listened to their Podcasts before but very impressed with their #Shadowdark game. Also listening to their PF2 Blood of the Wild game, shows the difference in the power levels. One of the PF2 characters who is 1st level dealt out 45 points of damage in a single attack.
It's quite an event when your light source runs out unexpectedly... Usually at the most inconvenient moment!
The Monsters have darkvision!!
My Halfling thief being surprised by an Ochre Jelly
Adventuring in the Shadowdark last week my Halfling thief got more than he bargained for at the shrine's water pump! #shadowdark
With a small number of characters pulp mode works well and improves the survivability.
I've been playing Shadowdark for a while and I think the much quoted lethality is a little overstated. Players go down quite regularly but luck tokens help and having played 5E were player death is an exceptional event I find the level of risk about right.
I remember watching the film “Glory” and thought it was very good. I’ll check out the book.
