I’ve finally stopped procrastinating and I’m doing my writer “spring cleaning.” This is where I go through stuff hanging out without a folder, delete a whole bunch of old pictures, downloads, and early drafts, and rename things that need to make better sense. Time to get organized!

Thank you Selinsgrove Gelnett Book Festival for a terrific day yesterday. I met a bunch of new readers, made some great new author friends, and the organizers and volunteers were top-notch. I ended the day with a lot less books and a pretty bouquet of flowers. 💐

Corey, I apologize if that’s the impression you got from my post. My son is 22, autistic and one of the strongest people I know. I’ve heard from many readers who connected with that character and I wanted very much to show all his strengths and his great love for his family.

I wrote a major character with autism into TRAVELER because representation matters. Being an autism mom has taught me so much. Today is World Autism Awareness Day. Be an ally, be a shoulder, be the person with some extra patience, not just today, but every day.
