I wonder if there could be a compromise that didn't impact the release schedule. But i feel any change to what is announced at fanfest might just incur people worrying things wont come even if they said they'll announce patch things after expansion launch.

Marketing is a very tricky thing

I hope at the very least if they are doing both BLU and BST in .5 they have them in separate patches

It feels like alot of people would rather just not get told anything in advance and have everything be a surprise. I like generally knowing when things come out so I can plan around them though.

Im enjoying the patch. But i think maybe waiting till first Fanfest happens would probably be best as you'll be full hype for FFXIV due to new expansion announcement. So having a bunch of content to do then would be good
