I've finished the draft of Every God has its Day, The Chronicles of Corbin Pierce: Book Two. Clocking in at 100,867 words. This is the eighth novel I've written, and that's crazy to think about.

I'm so close to finishing this manuscript draft I can taste it.

Just got through my second indie book of the year, Let Sleeping Gods Lie by @benschenkman.bsky.social, which was a fun story based on indigenous American myths. It was mostly based on legends from the Quinnipiac people (love that name btw!) with a great magic system built around the spirit world.

Lava doesn't sound crunchy enough for my brain to want to eat it.

I moved for two seconds, and he stole my seat. Bad news for him, I'm obnoxious and just lay next to him instead. He was not thrilled.

I've never been deep into Photoshop so I'm probably unaware of the gap between the two. Hopefully affinity is an easier jump.
