Lovely to have new followers, but not sure what content works here. If I said I'm working on edits for book 7, would you be impressed? If I said I'll do a presentation on the life of an indie author next month, would that matter? Or, maybe cooking a chicken tikka balti tonight is more interesting 🤔

Go you! I've hit 90K but it's only taken a hundred years… 😆
I am resorting to writing 'rhubarb' on repeat, Julie. It gives me the word count, but not sure readers will understand the carefully nuanced verbiage (garbage)…
Still 99p. When a new neighbour becomes the person you fear most. 7,900 reviews and now on a special offer until the end of the month.

I also get my world news elsewhere. Had hoped this would be a ‘safer’ haven from the current 💩 show *sigh*
Why is virtually everything on my feed political? I'm here for the laughs, the banter, the silly videos of pets. And books, of course. Would love to connect with more authors, trad & indie, and all lovers of romcoms 😊
Only 99p for the whole of February! My much-loved romcom is a Kindle UK Monthly Deal. Treat yourself now and enjoy some magical mayhem.

Such beautiful scenery on the Isle of Skye! If you can't visit there in person, take an armchair trip with my heartwarming romance, Surprises on the Scottish Isle 💜

Without me constantly shouting about my debut novel, The Great Orme, it's voiceless. I don't have marketing teams or legions of fans. I've got me, my great little indie publisher and, if I'm lucky, a handful of friends. So if you see this, please share & join me on the slide 🖤
Wow! Lots of new followers — thank you 😊 — and already past the 800 mark. I should write something profound, but my brain is currently mush. So… maybe just buy one of my books? 🤔 I'd be ever so grateful!

Today's Saturday, right? 🤪
And to you, lovely! 🥰
Ham in Coca Cola simmering for tonight's dinner. Sticky toffee pudding ready for tomorrow. It's all feeling rather festive. Whatever your plans, I hope you find some peace. See you in 2025 ❤️
Am I writing my current book? No. Am I faffing around creating silly promo graphics? Yes. But it's such fun… 😂 Do I want you to buy my paperbacks for yourself or as gifts? What do you think? Make someone (me) happy this Christmas 📚🎅🎄

I like the cut of Suzette's jib, Sid. 😜
Oh Laura, I am so, so sorry. Sending you all the hugs 💔xx
It is. Revisited it many years ago. Memories all over the place. But it still had its old world charm. In an age of exotic holidays, there's something special about a wee slice of childhood nostalgia.
Spent so many happy summers there with my long-departed parents. Penny-pushing on the pier, donkey rides and my little, pre-author brain digging in the sand & coming up with stories…
What a great photo, Sean. Your dad will always be the finest Dr Who in my humble opinion 😊
@cjskuse.bsky.social Started watching Sweetpea last night with OH & son and — boy, oh boy — is it good!
I am Yërdua, a comfortable armchair with a built-in wine glass holder.
Not sure if the wonderful author Milly Johnson is on here, but she shared on 'the other place' recommendations for Christmas books in a certain newspaper. Thought I'd tweak the image a little… Because we all know no one reads romance/romantic comedy books. 😂
