If you're a writer who uses generative ai for your cover art or promos, you're a bum. "I wrote it all myself though." Nah, I can't trust that now. And I do not give a fuck anymore. How would you feel if an artist drew a cover, then generated a whole novel?

I had a similar discussion with my partner about a band music he likes, but who makes their album covers with AI gen. I asked him, "How can we be sure they're not using it for their music, even a little, if they don't hesitate to use it for their album covers?"
