The same hex-and-counter wargame with a Soviet KV-1 tank that has a broken weapon and is immobilized on the battlefield.
The "Russian Colossus" is having some mechanical difficulties.
Hex-and-counter wargame, setting up initial deployment with an even more collapsed interface than before.
Same hex-and-counter wargame, also setting up initial deployment, interface taking up slightly more space due to the sniper display so slightly larger minimum size.
Now, even shrinkier than before (two versions: size with snipers is a little bigger than without, but generally I've seen people run out of vertical space before they've run out of horizontal anyway. And the interface can also be scaled to a smaller size with the controls).

Hmm. I think the PPM file might be throwing Github off a bit.
Er, on _large interfaces sizes_ on small screens for a while.
The same hex-and-counter wargame (Germans vs. Americans in Cherbourg) except now on a smaller window with the track on the left side of the screen semi-collapsed.
Added a collapsed version of the initiative track so that it renders better on smaller (or at least not-so-tall) screens at larger interface sizes. Probably should have done this a long time ago, I've known it was kind of annoyingly scroll-y on large screens for a while.
Turns out not all the bugs were bugs, had to re-read my own documentation to remember what I'd intended.
Hex-and-counter wargame being fought in the harsh Russian winter.
A few more mostly minor bugs to fix and a little closer to being balanced. (Let me know if you want to play a game.)
but I really wanted to pet the monkeys
The hex and counter wargame is back, this time with a lot of blue and yellow, perfect for most dogs.
And today, added a high-contrast palette for colorblindness. Should be fairly usable for deuteranopia, protanopia, and tritanopia. Even okay for dogs. Except the actual colorblind ones, they might have trouble. Also not so good for full achromatopsia. Wouldn't be hard to add more palettes, though.
The new game page showing a whole bunch of scenarios and one particular scenario in particular: Uruguay, which is, of course, set in Poland in 1939 as you'd expect.
Spent a lot of time refactoring things this weekend to add a major feature and to make deploys at lot smoother (but one thing in particular still needs work). Kind of reset the playtesting a bit since the change is really major (and had to delete all the old games). But here are some scenarios.
A hex and counter wargame in your browser, with german and American squads dealing with blazes blocking the things
Also had to fix another bug on the fly to finish. That fire ended up probably deciding a very close game.
Ah, bocage, the hexes and counters
That thing where you fix a game-breaking bug on the fly and push it to the server to fix a game you're actively playing against another human. Also "lucky" blazes?
Hex, counters, carnage in Stalingrad with new prettier updates about the proceedings.
Completely refactored all of the action handling (and action display in the top left window while I was at it. It's much much more comprehensible now). Of course, broke a couple things with the new flow, but all worth it.
A hex map of open desert with a lot of dead tank counters.
Well, this one was fun.

First ever Denver Summit FC opener.
Feel free to tell interested friends-of-friends, too.
It's another game with hexes and counters, this time in the snow.
For the three people who probably actually read this, if you're interested in helping me playtest the thing here, let me know, particularly if you're willing to play games live while on a Discord call or something (but even if not, any feedback/bugs found is helpful). DMs or replies all good.
A closer example of A Hex Too Far game. Hexes, counters, all that stuff.
A closer game like it should be. Fewer known bugs, but probably plenty left; adding a bunch of QOL enhancements instead of non-stop testing.
I'm kind of terrible at my own game, need to learn how to play after being too deep in the weeds too long.
Finally played a game to completion; never had up to this point (always derailed fixing bugs on the way). Did find (8?) bugs in the process of playing the game, but at this point only a couple of them potentially would have affected game play (if I hadn't just skipped through instead). Still very ɑ.
I don't even know who the players are anymore, I haven't been paying attention since the rise and fall of the Minshuto, and this doesn't seem nearly as cataclysmic for the LDP.
But again, haven't really been paying attention.
Back to the hex and counter thing, with a bunch of things going on that are hopefully explained by a tooltip that has a bunch of numbers including die rolls and percentages
Progress.
Hex-and-counters, probably would be a bloodbath at Tarawa if I'd actually implemented actual firing
