Whatever may or may not happen to Brian, I think we all know that the Will won't be changed, and Adam won't get what he thinks he's getting #TheArchers

Re Glebe Cottage. I am pretty sure that the cottage was left to Shula when Dan and Doris died. When Phil and Jill moved in there on retirement, Shula moved to the Stables taking over from Christine. I think Jill owns it - but does that mean it is part of the Brookfield estate? #TheArchers

I think Brian knows his stuff when it comes to farming and knows this is not a good business proposition. Whatever he thinks about George he cannot bring himself to chuck money at something he is pretty certain will fail #TheArchers

Nigel in the 80s! The gorilla suit! The ice cream van! Those hours spent in Nelson's Wine Bar! Shane's quiche! What's not to like? #TheArchers

So Akram's dreams of farming rather than plumbing are realised when the Maliks take over Esme's farm? #TheArchers

Very few of the characters in #TheArchers have any experience of life beyond the bypass let alone the boundaries of Borsetshire, so going to Australia really is mind boggling for most of the residents. Go Lily!

So I think we've all worked out that this massive family holiday with only some of the family actually going on said holiday = massive family fall out #TheArchers

Yay. Priceless. The right column at the right time. And a gleefully English two fingers to the haters.

So that's Josh sorted with Esme and her farm, which means we're stuck with Pip taking over Brookfield #TheArchers

Saw Bacchae at the #NationalTheatre last night. Now I know why we haven't heard Denise for ages: Clare Perkins is a bit busy #TheArchers

I wouldn't be Chancellor for all the money in the world. Incredibly tough job. Impossible ask. Especially over the last decade.

Hellin is behaving like a lovestruck 15 year old and is besotted. We're all just going to have to listen to her on the emotional rollercoaster. I predict plenty of shouting at the radio in the coming weeks.

Aunt not great aunt. Shula's father (Phil) and Peggy's first husband (Jack) were brothers

Yes absolutely right. Butter on scones (and even now I would only have butter on a fruit scone), and clotted cream only when my Nan went on her annual holiday to Cornwall and sent it to us by post in a tin. Only way you could get it without heading to the SW. This would have been in the 60s
