With how many aspects from DMC2 there are in the season 2 trailer, I'm beginning to think it's Adi Shankar's favourite game in the series. Maybe it's the only one he played? It would somewhat explain why the show is so bad
The entire trailer just felt like a constant stream of shallow references.
Also, why did they change this shot? It's obvioulsy supposed to be a DMC3 reference, so why bother changing it? It's not like it looks better this way

DmC at least doesn't pretend it has anything to do with the original games. The story sucks ass, but the combat is good. Whereas Netflix's DMC feels like it was made by a larper who never actually played the games

Not to mention that Vergil is still presumably under Mundus' control. My best guess is that Vergil fights him on his own to free himself. I'm gonna assume that the only reason he can do that is because he has the Force Edge
Are they seriously going to juggle three different antagonists in one season?? I know that Vergil and Dante are going to team up to defeat Arius at the end, but I don't see how Mundus fits into all of this.
