I saw this and thought, well, hard for me to disagree with her.

I’m not sure the nascent backfiring will be enough to stop what’s already in motion, certainly the international ramifications will be felt for decades. On the other hand, the few MAGA’s I’ve had contact with have gone silent, so maybe cognitive dissonance finally setting in?
