A screenshot of a game promotion on LinkedIn that reads “Need a 30 second break? You’ve earned it!”
This is the most depressing thing.
30 whole seconds.
Truly, such a wonderful group of people 😭
Do you ever just reminisce about Yuri on Ice and then get so sad because the show, its staff, and the fandom deserved better?
I miss that community so bad, man!
Talking with Gina and Maia was simultaneously humbling and energizing in the BEST way!
Please enjoy this conversation about graphic novels, and how we can protect books and reading!
Calling writers and artists for this illustrated story collection! 👀✨
This is the one and only call for submissions Bonedust Press will have this year (opening in May!)
So take a gander at the guidelines and start polishing up your pitches and portfolios!
I read this news last night and couldn’t catch my breath. Horrors upon horrors.

I’m a recipient of the Graphic Novel Advocate award this year alongside Gina Gagliano & Maia Kobabe. I don’t even know how to express what this means to me. It’s astounding how much the format has grown. I feel so fortunate and proud to be even a small part of that shift.
Pencil test and final animation: Tokyo Godfathers (2003), dir. Satoshi Kon, Madhouse
This sequence by Shinji Otsuka was the first animation test for Tokyo Godfathers, and it served as a reference for the rest of the team
Self-consciousness about your art feels unpleasant, but it means your tastes are growing. Your personal taste as it guides your work is kind of an essential part of being an artist. Practice builds your skills and your point of view! You want to develop the Artist’s Hand *and* the Eye, so to speak.
Photo of NBC’s exit poll data (from my work laptop, lol) showing Mamdani splitting the straight vote equally with Cuomo, but taking the LGBTQ+ vote by more than 5:1. Even though the LGBTQ+ slice is only 14% of the population, they were a LANDSLIDE in his favor.
This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.
this is such a fantastic example of the transformative power of design when used collaboratively and intelligently. the visual design of this campaign is deep-rooted in history and culture and is thoughtful and beautiful

The project of erasing a people includes erasing their name. Look up who is the historic shepherd of the land you stand on today and say their name.
All vessels from the Global Sumud flotilla have been stopped by Israeli forces, W/ participants detained,w/ and ships confiscated. This raises urgent questions about the legality of Israel’s blockade and treatment of civilians trying to deliver aid. 🌍 The world is watching.

I cannot thank @editortiina.bsky.social enough for bringing us on to this project, and being a joy to work with. She's moving mountains and working miracles.
Billy Bat is a comic about the love of comics. (And a thousand other things.) It spans decades and languages and styles, with so many cool details. Brendon and I talked for years about the ways it could be lettered. And swore that we would work together if given the chance. We are so grateful.
