I wanna be excited for this but Rise did not land for me at all. It got the nastiness right but everything else felt hollow

LTTP but congrats!!!
Promise Mascot is the winner here imo.
Scott’s cold and off-putting Bateman-esque interpretation of the character is fascinating (and welcome) given everyone else has played him true to the book: as charismatic as he is amoral.
Finally watching this one and good lord the cinematography youtu.be/0ri2biYLeaI?...
Betrayal at Club Low - and now this - is the fabled "one city block" experience brought to life, in a world compelling and vibrant and branching in ways you'd never expect.
Some of my favorite games ever.
Spent three hours in chapter 1 and was enthralled by many compelling, well-devised sequences were packed into such a tiny space. Can’t wait to play chapter 2 and the others when they arrive.
shout out to @kstarlet.bsky.social for saving many of my pieces through brilliant edits that threw out the trash and elevated the worthwhile bits during my time at GI
new philosophy obtained
It's good to be home again
Road to Vostok feels like someone spent several years of their life making a Escape from Tarkov-inspired Half-Life 2 total conversion mod. I mean this in the most complimentary way possible.
Gave up on Prime 4 after five hours or so. Dunno who that game is for but it just does not resonate with me at all.
Nobody, NOBODY makes games like @cosmoddd.bsky.social. Buy this one, and then buy and play these:
* Betrayal At Club Low (2022)
* Tales From Off-Peak City Vol. 1
* The Norwood Suite
* Off-Peak (2015)

Been a long (and productive!) week. Can't wait to relax this weekend by diving into Moves of the Diamond Hand
Our 2026 roadmap for Battlefield went live today. Proud to have led the scripting for this one. Check it out! www.youtube.com/watch?v=f30Y...
My husband was laid off and we’re kind of at a loss right now. If anyone has any leads on PR jobs, please reach out to him.
So I was just laid off from Vicariously.
If you‘ve got an opening in PR/marketing and want to hire someone who does good work and has a family to support, I’m your guy.
Any reposts super appreciated.
Why would anyone watch a Bloodborne movie when BLOODBORNE LORE EXPLAINED [4K} [60fps] (04:48:31) is right there?
Would be cool to be able to play one of the greatest games ever made @ 60 fps with increased resolution. I think the inexplicable movie tie-in is less odd if it leads to that outcome.
I have a mighty need
Near the end now. What an excellent little adventure. Play it! store.steampowered.com/app/2057760/...
Road to Vostok is the Good Stuff. And by the Good Stuff, I mean I got in a fight with two bandits armed with AKs, took them both out with a pistol, and then died anyway since I couldn't find a medkit to patch a wound.
And who doesn't love a good Metroid reference?
It knows what to embrace from its main inspiration (give and take away stat gear system, class configuration + combat through dialogue, lore delivery via hypertext) but embracing a Pratchett/ Douglas Adams comedic sensibility makes it emerge as more than just a wannabe.
Yeah. Esoteric Ebb is pretty great. First hour, like DE, is pretty slow. But this is the only Elysium-like (is that what we're calling these?) that gets close. Real close.
Also one time i locked @kylehilliard.com in a car and blew him up with C4. Can't beat that.
I go back to every few years and play through a chunk of the campaign. The game's a nice halfway point for tactical sim and mainstream AAA open-world freedom & action. It's got some annoying moments - certain instafail stealth missions - but it scratches an itch that no other game has for me.
I know it's a little rough around the edges but man, Wildlands is one of my favorite open world playgrounds in the sense it gives me just the right amount of options and freedom to tackle my objectives. I can load it up, put on a Spotify playlist, and lose hours upon hours to it
