I don’t think I would, that ship has sailed for me.🙃

I use Midnight Commander under Linux. It’s got all the nostalgia of using Norton Commander but is actually useful on my Linux Mint PC.
Surely it’s a sound IP44?… 😂
It’s all a bit odd, there appears to be a narrative that one should hold & communicate strong opinions or political leanings in a public sphere.
I’m sure it’s just to help Pollsters & other data analysts, have a bed of data to manipulate. 🤷🏼
But what to i know, I’m just here for 5&9s
Mmm🤔 This is interesting, I wonder how many other services still rely on the 198kHz signal

Mmm. Radio reception was somewhat lacking tonight.
After spending lots of time pressing buttons and looking through settings of the FT-817 it turned something less complicated.
Looking out of the window I see the support holding the wire up is down. 😂🤔.
A job for a slightly warmer day.
Real nice!
I guess life is too short to encode and send political drivel via digital modes? 🤷🏼😂
Sounds good 👍🏻
It does seem daft. But on the other hand, I’ve managed to pick up a none Win 11 compliant - small form factor hp desktop. Nice spec and runs Linux Mint well.
Seems lots of firms are making good surplus available. Every cloud?….
What did Nebraska do, to be denied access to Windows 1.0?🤔
The prices seems reasonable!!
I am outdoors in a forested area, sitting on the ground and smiling at the camera. I am wearing a puffy blue jacket and have some equipment in front of them, including a notebook and a small case with, with an Elecraft KX2 on my left knee. Next to me is a fluffy white and black dog is sitting, looking off into the distance. The background is lush with mossy trees, ferns, and fallen leaves, creating a peaceful, natural setting.
The image shows a fluffy white and black dog sitting on the forest floor, looking at the camera with a curious expression. In the foreground, there is a close-up view of a small black electronic device, possibly a portable radio or communication device, held by someone whose knee is visible. The device has a digital display showing numbers and various dials and switches. The ground is covered with brown leaves, green moss, and ferns, adding to the forest setting.
Nice quick #hamradio Summits on the Air activation today before the bomb cyclone hits late this afternoon. #SOTA
These pocket qrp rigs do look interesting. Ah, maybe one day 😀

Hey Jim, do you leave to rig strapped to the bike while travelling or just when set to operate?

As far as I can tell the block / unblock trick doesn’t work on this platform. I found that useful to drop followers on twitter.
If you find a way to drop followers here, do share. 👍🏻
I think they are worth the investment. I’ve made lots of patch cables and conversions to my shack bits and the crimp tool was invaluable.
I think you can get away with a pair of pliers with lucar spade connectors in a pinch but you can’t bodge a high current power pole. IMHO
Seems to be a fair few of unusual names, maybe just newly set up accounts that are connecting?
I’ve assumed it’s new to platform users finding their feet.
It’s what I’ve done, looked for the followers I had on Twitter and looked to follow new similar accounts.
Time will tell…
Dog walk with a coffee brew! A Jetboil stove on a park bench. With nature.
A perfect Saturday dog walk near to Doncaster. Took the Jetboil to boil up a brew for me and the sprog.
Obligatory chocolate biscuits included!
