Dude, if this whole thing ends up being us as small, interplaying expressions of the same big universal soul, and individual identity is largely a myth, I’ve got some serious questions about the direction our one soul is going.

It will always boggle my mind how anyone could be anti-working class solidarity, or find ways to try and splinter it. Sometimes plugging your head into the sand is easier, I guess.
I believe in the ability to walk and chew gum. No one is at fault for being born. It’s what you do with the time you have that matters.
Platner is offering a working class message for everyone, and asking people to organize. That is so much more than Mills or Collins is asking for.
What in God’s name are you talking about? Working class solidarity was, is, and always will be inclusive of all identities. It is the basis for all progressive movements that confront capitalist injustices. Whatever one’s race, gender, or orientation, everyone who is crushed by capitalism is welcome
What are you talking about? I’m sorry, I thought I was responding to a cogent person. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you think youre doing.
I would love to see those numbers, do you have them?
Also, damn 2015 is eleven years ago, where ya been, brother?
I’m sorry socialists are upsetting your capitalist friends. We’re out here defending working class folks, how bout you?
Lisa, and all other right wing trolls out there, I wish you the best of luck.
What are you talking about? Look, I’m a socialist who has been active in causes from tenant rights, socialist city councilor elections, limiting surveillance, and more.
It seems like you’ve had no actual face time with the candidate. I have. I encourage you to think deeper than online memes.
Sorry, have you followed along with anything he’s said, or his platform; or, are you claiming this guy, who is married into a Jewish family, is somehow a Nazi supporter based on a tattoo he got with his marine buddies 20 years ago?
Sorry, I was looking for the laugh emoji but I guess Bluesky doesn’t have one, so I’ll just say “lol”
Hey so sorry, I deleted a reply to your post here, but I’m actually all set with talking to an out of stater about this.
Sorry, to be clear, you’re pro Mills?
I don’t blame them, her speeches are pretty uninspiring (to put it politely), while Graham captivates crowds with a relatable working class message.
While I hope she pulls out, my guess is her team sees these debates as unnecessary risks, and are desperately hoping that her negative ads drag her across the finish line.
I’m worried about the Knicks creeping up, but beating the Thunder was a huge boost to my own nonsensical idea of us being worthy.
I hated the ending, but I think the point was to piss off the viewer. The experiment was rigged, if humans found out then kill it. If they’re bad, kill it. It was always going to be switched off unless they fell in line
The message is a contradiction and infuriating, but I think it’s supposed to be
It’s funny, the poorer I am (which is usually around this time of month), the more creative I get culinarily.
Who says cheesy pasta with tuna is bad? Who says hummus and cucumber sandwiches are bad? I dare you.
They’re calling it “Epic Fury,” I mean. It’s the most cringe internet-brained thing a middle schooler would think up for a serious operation.
Might as well have called it “Operation: Leroy Jenkins”
Shoutout @demsocialists.bsky.social for sending me their 2026 wall calendar, which has rounded out my home office’s “socialist corner” quite nicely.
Losers like a certain type for sure. Me? I’m busy making deals, but you sound familiar with that type, so sure.
I hate to agree with JF here, but if this movie had released straight to streaming, and you stumbled upon it 15 min in on TNT in two years, you’d be like “ok whatever, I‘ll watch this trash because I’m a loser with nothing else to do.”
Dude, I have been telling everyone who will listen to check out this podcast. It’s in my top three. Great blend of history, culture, hints at modern shit, and humor. I look forward to it every week.
Yeah thats pretty usual once youre a few weeks in.
Disagree lol, but you already knew that
I keep thinking it’s a three way race between Bellows, Pingree, and Jackson, because I keep forgetting Shah is also running.
He is so popular, if he performs well in debates and actually gets more visibility, he could run away with it.
At this point if the tattoo is someone’s hang-up, they’ve already lost the plot.
He’s popular with Mainers, who, for better or worse, are overlooking that and are drawn in by his “salt of the earth” messaging & pro working families platform.
He isn’t Fetterman, and Mills sucks. He’s our best shot.
Oh, they’re a-gusting down here for sure
In Portland we’re just on the outside edge of this system. It’s going to be a roller coaster of expectations and I’m excited.
How about this: stop hunting one of the smartest birds we have. They’re cool and awesome and extremely smart. Leave them alone
