ahhhh
We shouldn't all be forced to live in this episode of The Twilight Zone constantly. This is no way to live.
The thing with this though is that jazz is also half-maths, half-jazz.
My Portuguese teacher told me he’s been stuck in punk rock for too long. He loves Fugazi so i turned the tables & said *his* homework was to listen to this.
I can't even find the words to express how repugnant and despicable this post is.
People who spew such Islamophobic bile don't belong in the United States Congress. The job of elected officials is to combat hate, not fan its flames. (1/2)

This is an irresponsible, misleading post that misrepresents what Leavitt said. There's enough awful stuff happening. Don't confuse people.
Headline is evergreen.
[guy who interviewed trump moments after a posterboard demonstration of lois chiles as dr. holly goodhead] The president has privately shown serious interest in a 'Moonraker' solution to hostilities in Iran.
This answer - from one of the president’s key economic advisors - is disgraceful.
And, fwiw, the number for tariff pass through is closer to 94-96 percent
I'm a London parent who hasn't vaccinated my kids against measles, let me explain
It’s weird we never do stuff like this with other terrible decisions. Newspaper doesn’t run “I saw a half empty can of Mountain Dew left on the street and drank the rest of that mfer”, and the guy who drank the Mountain Dew is only hurting himself
Ossoff: "Among today's false prophets are the election deniers who indulge this president's obsession with overturning the 2020 election. Hear me when I say this -- they tell a lie so absurd, and therefore so debasing, that the act of telling it proves the teller's total and humiliating submission."
So a thought about why so many mainstream pundits seem not to be rising to the moment. Part of it, of course, is that the laziest way to perform the journalistic ideal of neutrality is a reflexive both-sidesism, but I think it’s more than that…
Great work per usual by Greg here. 👇🏾
I would add 6th: assemble for Congressional review a database of ICE agents (names publicly withheld, sure) hired since 1/20/25, including age, race, gender, occupational history, legal history, group affiliations, social media records.
You know why…
My daughter literally asked me to turn down the Husker Du in the car a few hours before you posted this
BREAKING: Todd Blanche’s aides directed federal investigators in Minnesota to shut down the investigation into the ICE officer’s fatal shooting of Renee Good—and instead probe the victim for possible criminal liability, according to reporting from @ms.now's Carol Leonnig and Ken Dilanian.
This is pure, unabashed bigotry.
If a politician said this about any other faith, they would rightfully be run out of their party.
But this kind of despicable anti-Muslim rhetoric is so normalized that a sitting Senator uses it without consequence.
A stain on our Congress.
I agree.
Cong Dems cannot make this happen. But they should be calling for it.
-The world's most important alliance is being destroyed by one mentally disturbed man.
-That man outright says there is *no* limit on his power except his own "morality"[sic]. Including to make war
Which side are we on?
This is the kind of shit that would make you completely outside the bounds of any ancient society, the gods bestow generational curses for violating hospitality
Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
rare to see an american politician speak in these terms and it rocks
If the executive branch can unilaterally cut off federal funding to specific states the union has already been dissolved.
Abolish and prosecute ICE. They did a murder in broad daylight today. Imagine what they're doing in the closed facilities we're somehow not even allowed to see.
News Team, Thank you for the notes and texts. I apologize for not reaching out earlier. I learned on Saturday that Bari Weiss spiked our story, INSIDE CECOT, which was supposed to air tonight. We (Ori and I) asked for a call to discuss her decision. She did not afford us that courtesy/opportunity. Our story was screened five times and cleared by both CBS attorneys and Standards and Practices. It is factually correct. In my view, pulling it now-after every rigorous internal check has been met is not an editorial decision, it is a political one. We requested responses to questions and/or interviews with DHS, the White House, and the State Department. Government silence is a statement, not a VETO. Their refusal to be interviewed is a tactical maneuver designed to kill the story. If the administration's refusal to participate becomes a valid reason to spike a story, we
have effectively handed them a "kill switch" for any reporting they find inconvenient. If the standard for airing a story becomes "the government must agree to be interviewed," then the government effectively gains control over the 60 Minutes broadcast. We go from an investigative powerhouse to a stenographer for the state. These men risked their lives to speak with us. We have a moral and professional obligation to the sources who entrusted us with their stories. Abandoning them now is a betrayal of the most basic tenet of journalism: giving voice to the voiceless. CBS spiked the Jeffrey Wigand interview due to legal concerns, nearly destroying the credibility of this broadcast. It took years to recover from that "low point." By pulling this story to shield an administration, we are repeating that history, but for political optics rather than legal ones.
We have been promoting this story on social media for days. Our viewers are expecting it. When it fails to air without a credible explanation, the public will correctly identify this as corporate censorship. We are trading 50 years of "Gold Standard" reputation for a single week of political quiet. I care too much about this broadcast to watch it be dismantled without a fight. Sharyn
Per NY Times’s Michael Grynbaum on X, this is Sharyn Alfonsi’s email to her “60 Minutes” colleagues in full:
BREAKING: At least 16 files from the Epstein release disappeared from DOJ's webpage, including a photo of Trump, with no explanation.
I keep saying this but no one is connecting the dots. The war is to satisfy legal preconditions for mass removal *domestically* of Latinos (i.e., suddenly a lot of people are going to be “Venezuelan” for purposes of removal). This is 100% Stephen Miller…oil claim is to make grandpa go along
It is rare that i reach out to as many trump advisers and officials that I did today and get literally no one willing to defend this, even off the record.
