As we celebrate Mother Language Day - დედა ენის დღე in Georgia, remembering
that this day goes back to 1978, when thousands of Georgians took to streets in protest against soviet’s decision to remove Georgian as the state language.
During soviet times it was unprecedented case when regime backed.
Today, on April 14th, we celebrate Mother Tongue Day დედა ენის დღე in Georgia.✨🇬🇪🫶🏻
