This morning on 2SM I discussed fuel price gouging and the deceit engaged in by the Govt, telling everyone the ACCC was onto it. Price gouging is not illegal in Australia - there’s nothing the ACCC can do unless collusion is happening. #auspol

Fuel price gouging. War profiteering and government dissembling - Michael West Greedy fuel companies are taking advantage of war, while politicians tell us they’re going to deal with greedy fuel companies, but don't.

When the Iran war started and fuel prices went up, Labor ministers were telling the Parliament and public that the ACCC was cracking down on fuel price gouging. But the ACCC wasn’t, because it couldn’t. The Govt knew it, but were engaging in deceit. #auspol
