now I can bounce between the two in ways I had only dreamed of before. I feel very free being able to change on a day to day basis, and it's allowed me to explore my gender in ways I couldn't have before. I'm forever grateful to everyone who donated and made this dream come true. 🥹🙏🏳️‍⚧️💛

I can finally shapeshift with ease and present however I want!

Wearing a bra was once a non-negotiable truth, but thanks to surgery it's now something I can opt into. I get to choose the size and not have to deal with the weight of actual boobs.

I've loved swimming forever, but not being able to be topless, and also being a hairy man with big boobs, often made me too uncomfortable to partake. Nothing can top the feeling of being in the right body, and getting to proudly live in it at a place like the beach.

Can't wait to go again soon!

Turns out, hiking is a lot easier when you aren't breathless and fatigued all the time! Who woulda thunk?

Before surgery, it was like there was a wall constantly in front of me, and I felt like my life was on pause. Since. then, I've done a lot of firsts that I otherwise wouldn't have gotten to do.

Here I am after passing out after seeing underneath the binder for the first time. Think I got a concussion cuz I've had head/vision problems since then (I plan on getting it checked out). The lack of boobs was really disorienting for awhile, but I was obviously still very happy about it. :)

Even with all the donations I received, surgery took every bit of money I had. Despite spending the rest of the year grinding for stability, it was worth every penny just to wake up each day, no longer suffocating from my own boobs and feeling the constant joys of my new chest.

Today marks one year since my lifelong dream of getting top surgery came true!

I've gotten done a lot of firsts since I had surgery, and I'm so grateful I get control over how I present now.

I thought I would do a little reflection thread sharing moments from the past year and what it's been like!
