That was a very good video!
Thin layer of powdery snow over cement. Bird footprints in the snow as though the bird just walked up and left.
Today's Haiku:
Winter's last morning,
in the powdery snowfall,
a Robin's footprints.

Cool! TY!
Let us know a few days in advance for the next event! I would have planned to attend if I'd known!
I lived in CT for ages but never experienced that. I DID experience an earthquake in Illinois, and no one believed me until they saw the news!
100% agree. I'll just be vague, like, "I'm working on something, but I can't talk about it just yet." Those who understand and respect will not ask further.
I had been eyeing an empty glass honey jar at work for a month. It was just sitting on the counter... empty.... waiting, like it just knew I would take it home when no one was looking!
This is in my TBR pile.
I'm glad to hear this! I've known what to do in hurricanes and earthquakes, but I wouldn't know what to do in a tornado.
I'm sorry this happened! Where I grew up, we had hurricanes, so I have seen some intense winds that I wasn't sure we would make it through. But, there are days in Chicago with 60 MPH wind gusts and people just walk around like it's nothing. I'm always amazed!
Yup! Every night, if I am NOT in bed by 10, my girl lets me know by staring at me. I've made the mistake of telling her to get settled, and I'll be right there only to find she has curled up IN THE MIDDLE of the bed, so I have to sleep around her. I do not move the cat.
That's just a Tuesday in Chicago!
Those look like blue jay feathers! maybe look up what blue Jays represent and use the feathers for that type of magic.
Today's Haiku:
Tiny black cat sleeps
On an overstuffed white chair
While grey skies pour rain.

This is beautiful!!! I love the cloth and the pics.
Happy Birthday!!!!
This is interesting. The way I see it is based on my training as a shiatsu practitioner. The pentacle represents the creation/control cycles of the 5 elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. The circle moving forward creates, backwards, destroys (imbalance) which could work for banishing.
I love this spell!!!! I never thought to use boxwood, but I love it!
Interesting... in the numerology system I studied 10 reduces to 1+0=1 and all numbers are reduced to a single digit. It's nice to see that 1 in numerology and 10 in tarot equate to starting a new cycle!
My NY goals have been the same for the last few years - Laugh more. That's it. It's fun, it's easy, and if I feel I am doing a poor job of keeping it, I throw in a comedy to watch. Not very witchy, but who cares! Happy New Year everyone!
Today's Haiku:
Winter Solstice Eve...
Splashing in a small puddle,
Ten playful Starlings!

It looks like it has very powerful energies!
I wonder how quickly I would be disowned if I wore one of these to my family's Christmas gathering? ๐
Inspiration for the tower card? When was the carving made?
Treat it like what it is - a message carried by the "tech winds" across the world and into the universe. People read much more than they react to, but it doesn't mean it isn't appreciated, helpful, or welcomed. ๐ช
Algiz rune (reminds me of a peace symbol) and witch's knot. Sometimes I use hearts too, to make sure only good energy is coming in.
Took this walking home last night. So tranquil and still!
green leaves mixed with beige, brown and Carmel colored dried leaves. In the center, a tiny Violet flower, which usually blooms in the Spring!
Today's Haiku:
Daylight fading fast,
Under crisp, dried Autumn leaves,
A lone Violet!
I was at the event and it was wonderful. So sad these people felt it was necessary to destroy the calm of the day!
