NEW WORK: WALL-E Triptych ✏️

Inspired by the cinematography of Pixar’s #WALLE, I translated some film stills into real-life drawings that take one through WALL-E and EVE’s story in a more traditional yet still impactful way. (Except for the last film still. I made that one up.)

Angucircumeter. March 2026. Cardboard, papier-mâché, and acrylic paint. 6" × 4" × 7.5". A dark blue papier-mâché sculpture of an abstracted combination square, with elements such as a forty-five-degree angle between two faces, a semicircular bottom, beveled front and back faces, and two holes that pass through the front and back.

Another class assignment—this time for Form Study. I was tasked with making an abstract object from scratch using cardboard, papier-mâché, and only vague descriptors of an original source object (which was a combination square if you’re curious).

The Artemis II space mission has officially launched 🚀

• They will go one swing around the Moon and back (no landing)

• Mission will last ~10 days

• Next step is to land on the Moon — then eventually establish a Moon base

Was so excited for this... guess he waited all this time to tell us it's AI slop 😭 Glad I didn't throw any money at this, so disappointed

It’s Better with Friends. 2026. Charcoal and ink on paper. 9" × 12" (each composition). An installation comprised of six monochrome drawings—one in the center featuring the SWIMS main cast sitting around a bonfire on a beach at night, the others situated around featuring nighttime work environments for each of the characters—as well as additional drawn elements, including running poses of the characters (with accent colors) situated in between the central black-and-white drawing and the revolving ones and samples of handwriting and calligraphy on top of the black-and-white drawings. fun fact: I was drawing all of this on one layer, and after a certain point, some of the lines started disappearing. turns out that Animate has an anchor point limit after all!
