Winston Peter's sits in a place of power and privilege, his silence and complacency in the on going genocide of Gaza will he remembered with shame and cowardess for many generations.

In the past 2 days, the youth of Nepal have:
- burned down their parliament
- burned down politicians houses
- made their corrupt PM resign
And that's the story of how they no longer have a horrible, corrupt government that doesn't represent them... β

Absolutely tremendous stuff. ππ½ππ½ππ½
Nepal is in chaos. Angry crowds are chasing ministers in the streets. Govt buildings, hotels, and officials' homes are burning.
The spark? Deep corruptionβignited by a social media ban.
PM has resigned. The govt has collapsed.
Tourists are stranded. The airport is shut. Over 500 injured.
You know you're getting old when your childhood buses are nearing retirement π₯²
I grew up with these MAN 17.223s and to me, they're still modern. If I won lotto tonight I'd be looking at buying my own for preservation π
During Covid lockdown I started expanding my music taste, especially in metal/rock. Black Sabbath was one of those bands I really got into. Same with Ozzys solo stuff. I wanted to appreciate Ozzy while he was still around. I'm glad I did. Fly high Ozzy, thank you for the memories.
New Zealand railways steam locomotive Ww 644 seen making its way towards Fielding New Zealand on a train excursion
It's been a while since I've posted on here, so might as well get my account back up and running.
Possibly my favorite photo of the year, 1915 built Ww 644 leads the charge towards Fielding during the FRONZ 50th weekend.
Very floofy cat called cinnemon laying on my unicorn blanket
You know summers over when the cat starts snuggling on your bed!
One major reason I prefer the train, being able to sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Until next weekend, farewell my beautiful home of Te Whanganui-A-Tara β€οΈ
I hope like hell he's learned from the mistakes he made. Either way it'll be fun to watch π
Kept seeing this life boat on the highway so decided to stop and get a photo of it. While I'm still waiting for confirmation, this could potentially be one of the surviving life boats from the ill fated TEV Wahine.
Can someone explain when you had to start paying for Jetpack Joyride?
I got nostalgic and reinstalled it to have a play and find out you only get an hour of free play time?
Once upon a time it used to free to play.....
I think I've finally gotten through to my Dad about building a model layout, looks like I'm getting that model tram layout I've dreamt about since childhood!
Can we just have a decade without major historical moments please?
Coming home last night I saw this ship docking, I very quickly grabbed out my phone to grab a photo of the name!
Us Trans people have at least 7 futures ahead of us!
This album is pure Estrogen and I love it
A cloud fluff dog (white samoyed) running with tongue out looking very happy, pink text overlay says, in parentheses: β(i am off to commit the sin of empathy)β
Keep creating your art and work and love, my friends; they hate that shit!
Have a lovely day, folks. β€οΈ
If I had a time machine I wouldn't use it to stop world events or make money. I'd just spend my time riding old transport.
Like these Leyland Leopard Buses. π
Yeah I'm emotional right now, but I doubt I'm the only Tennant in the world who's sick of being treated as a profit cow.
They don't provide any service to people, they don't care about us.
This landlord has allowed mum and I to be in constant danger in a house that isn't fit for rental in the first place.
What's the point in being a landlord if you won't maintain the house?
I'm over this shit.
Honestly I'm tired of being taken advantage of by landlords. Previous landlord only kept us until we paid back his mortgage and then lied to us by saying he had family moving in. (He sold the house)
Current landlord has decided the house needs too much repairs and is going to sell it.
Named after Richard "Dick" Mabutt, he was an electric apprentice who worked his way up to engineer and had a career in railways for 40 years.

The last survivor of a class of 6 locomotives, H 199 was used on the 3 mile section of the Remutaka Incline. This loco is unique in so many ways, as it's a 2 in 1, having an inner engine that gripped the centre rail for adhesion. H 199 is preserved at the Fell Museum in Fetherston NZ.
I'm moving in just a few days, and it means parting way with my cats. They'll be going with Mum, but Holy fuck I'm going to miss my girls π
Paid another visit to the Wellington Tramway Museum today, all the operational trams were out and there were plenty of families enjoying the beautiful Kapiti sunshine!
As always a super friendly team who do fantastic work keeping our heritage alive π
Out in the open I saw my first AI ad on a bus, really annoys me to see this crap being advertised. A company can afford to purchase ad space on buses but can't pay actual artists?
Yeah it really bugs me
I'm holding out hope one day I'll be able to buy my own home just so I can have epic nerf gun battles
The advantage to metas new BS policy is I'm finding lots of pretty people on here to follow
Today's episode of my transport preservation agenda
Wellington trams, I like them and wish we still had them traveling the streets
Today on the transport preservation agenda...
Cyclops as seen in 2012 on the farewell to English Electric units on the Johnsonville line after 74 years of service.
A year after this event Cyclops would be purchased for the grand some of $1, and moved to it's current home at Maymorn.
