I'm on here very rarely but I really appreciate this

I really wish I played this series as a teenager. Even as an adult these games have inspired me limitlessly but to grow up with these characters as role models probably would have me on a different trajectory. Their ideals fit my ideals. I am so happy I went through this journey

Finally beat Pirate Yakuza after multiple breaks. Loved the characters of the game, especially the Rich family, the pirate combat was solid, I enjoyed the music as well, but I mostly enjoyed the Devil Flag sub story and fully completing it. Overall I recommend this series to absolutely anyone

Infinite Wealth was a worthy successor to Like a Dragon and reinforces my thoughts I've had for a couple of characters. Kiryu might be my favorite character ever just off of how he sticks to his principles. Ichiban might just be the best fictional human ever with his kindness and resilience

So I beat Like A Dragon Gaiden very quickly. I had no idea it was such a short game. Even in that short time it introduced some characters that will stick with me forever. It also had the most emotional ending so far for me (yes I cried). The combat was different but welcomed. Solid game

I enjoyed Like a Dragon much more than I expected I would. The turn based change was done really well but I hope in future games there are more roles or party members. Ichiban is a great/hilarious personality and was an amazing choice for protagonist. Also, bury Kume in the core of the earth

Also baseball mini-game is only second to pocket circuit racing so far

Just realized I never made my Yakuza 6 review. I really loved the new characters, they all had a ton of personality and enhanced the game for me. This game really made you feel like a conflicted father struggling with the fact that your kid is an adult now. Very intrigued for the future games

The most random improvement I've gotten has been Football Manager 2022. It didn't run the best on the Switch and didn't look good in the 3D engine. On the Switch 2 it looks and plays like FM 24 on the PC and runs so much faster

The Nintendo 3DS is insane. I haven't charged this thing or turned it on in months and its still fully charged

Finally made it through Yakuza 5. Overall I really did like the game but going from a beat em up to a forced "karaoke" main story made reconsider playing. Thankfully all of the characters were well written and I found some of my favorite songs from the series (so far)

I have to say I've really enjoyed the side stories of the first two characters in Yakuza 5. This Haruka section though makes me want to stop playing altogether

Yakuza 4 so far is easily my favorite. I knew about a certain character featured in Yakuza 0 being more prominent in this game and it was better than I thought it'd be. The new characters were fantastic, rehashing old drama didn't feel forced. Overall this game was amazing

Alright, Yakuza 3. This game is exactly why Kiryu needs to start killing people. Without spoiling Kiryu needs to learn to finish the job

Last day of the month but I made it, I beat Yakuza Kiwami 2. I loved the politics involved, the callbacks, the new characters, and especially the ending. Onto Yakuza 3
