Whoa! So useful! And speedy! What a brilliant share, thank you!

@funkypedagogy.bsky.social I return to them all the time! Just rewatched the language paper sessions to ‘revise’ before heading back into teaching after a big break - phenomenal!
Re-watching AIC next! 💪🏻 Thank youuuuuu!
Of course!! Please do 🥰
These are SO GOOD! I pinched loads of your brilliant resources shared incredibly generously from ‘the other place’ too and they’ve had such a big impact on my teaching - thank you!!
Can’t wait to have a proper look through your Y7 writing stuff! ❤️❤️❤️
Totally agree, this sounds dreamy!
Ooh, happy birthday for tomorrow! 🎉
Loved this episode! Scribbled down so many notes!
📌 ooh, pinning as I have some lovely blank display boards to sort next week also!
Have you seen @spryke2.bsky.social’s dropbox? A treasure-trove of resources with a wealth of context knowledge included. This is my go-to for lots of lit stuff, not just P&C
Really looking forward to reading this - I’m so invested in making my new role back in school work for who I am at home too.
It’s so important to be able to be ‘work me’ too, and I wish that we could build more flexibility and understanding into delivering school roles that work with family life…
Would love to support this!
I’m a casualty of the motherhood penalty - was teaching/ SLT for 17yrs and took a break working in a different space in education.
But now I’m back 💪🏻 This would be my 20th year in teaching if I hadn’t broken away.
It’s tough stuff! But I’m so pleased to be back ❤️
This is where I’ve been for the last few years, before returning to teaching!
Well, sort of, I was doing core design rather than subject design…
It was an ace role though and TF are a lovely employer with brilliant, collaborative teams ❤️
This book is having a hugely positive impact on my confidence and SK while I’m preparing to teach ACC (weirdly for the first time) with my new Y10s in Sept!
Love boosting my knowledge with Lit Crit and this is such an easy to digest way of achieving much wider knowledge about a text ✨
This is VERY exciting news! ❤️
So glad that there are more on the way!!
Incredibly exciting news! Ready to Teach wasn’t around when I was last in school, and last term was my first go back at teaching Macbeth - having that text to draw on was amazing! I’m so proud of what I was able to do with quite a tricky Y10 class because I felt confident in my SK…
Do you want to come and work with me and lead Initial Teacher Education in a brilliant programme for Religious Education or Business?
OK, so the working with me bit might not be the best advert – but let me tell you about the job and the team and why you might love this as your next role!
Hi there David! This is great to hear and will be awesome roles for some brilliant people!
Absolutely can’t wait for your next one!
Our HOD bought us all this brilliant book to read over the summer - reading it right now and can’t put it down!
Thanks so much for sharing all of these too!
Reading this kind of stuff makes me a better teacher and is way better prep than planing shiny lessons - knowledge is power!
I feel you 100%! The time to connect is lush! But it’s also a v demanding, full time job! My fella is off work today and am taking the opportunity to get some breathing space to prep for Sept… and will try and not beat myself up when not much of my mega to-do list gets ticked off! 😅
@funkypedagogy.bsky.social
Not done this as a full team for a while, but it’s so powerful when school buys in access to webinars on a key text/ section of the exam - e.g. Jenny Webb/ Laura Webb/ am sure there are many, many more!
And we have time to discuss/ plan/ divvy up jobs and share the results - impactful!
I’m all over it! 😅 defo feel like this is so much more where I’m supposed to be
Thank you! I only started back after Easter and even though this would have been my 20th year if I hadn’t had my role outside of school for a chunk, it’s all still feeling very new and exciting!
Helps that I’m in a fab school with a lovely team 🥰 enjoy what’s left of the hols!
Welcome to Sheffield Erin! She will love it!
It really is loads nicer over here! #Edusky
Honoured!!!
Ooh, would you mind adding me too please? Just learning how to work this new place!
