The only people who mispronounce my first name are my clients and 1) usually it’s just a language barrier/unfamiliarity with the name 2) they’re always nice and 3) sometimes their pronunciation is better/technically more correct to the original Irish

My last name gave people trouble when I lived in the Midwest and it was interesting from a cultural perspective but I never experienced anything outright malicious and I tended to find it amusing.
