A three panel photo of the desert paintbrush inflorescence in red, light orange and yellow.
From Wikipedia
This paintbrush is under half a meter in height and has bristly gray-green to purple-red herbage. It stands in a clump of erect stems, each topped with an inflorescence of somewhat tubular yellow green flowers. The flowers are encased in bright red to orange-red bracts, sometimes tinted with purple, and usually fuzzy with a thin coat of white hairs. The upper leaves and bracts are divided into 3–5 segments, while the lower leaves are undivided, long, and narrow.

They weren't as bad. But that's not saying much. But hey hey new tires! Now longer in that brand of peril while driving.

Former server things: worked so long with Spanish speaking folks that I can work out when someone is talking shit and when they're talking with concen.
The good folks who fixed my tires: concerned. Maybe a little scared of my remaining sad tires lol.

In profile facing left, a black bird with a long fluffy neck, a longish hooked beak, yellow orange skin at the base of the beak and on its chin, and two needle thin feathers streaming from behind its small but beautiful aquamarine blue eye floats in gently rippling water.
Would Bette Davis be jealous of these eyes? Probably not, but the competition is fierce.

A map of Florida dotted with flames depicting major fires all over the state from Naples up to the panhandle. It reads Florida fires: current active and contained wildfires and says 100,000 acres burned so far in 2026
I coming drought bitching. People are trying to claim we aren't in one anymore because we've gotten some rain recently. We're over a foot under what's needed bit sure half an inch of rain fixes that. Also let's ignore our current fire maps not a tinder box at all.

Péter Magyar was a key member of Fidesz, Tisza is a conservative nationalist party, and they’re pretty reactionary about immigration, so Hungary is far from out of the woods and liberal democracy at best merely delays fascism

I got super lucky and this happened while I was slowing down in traffic and not on the interstate that I take daily. I got super unlucky in that for the life of me I could not locate my wheel lock. Another thing to learn from me please. And last lesson? Impact wrench comes in clutch.

An incredibly sad blown out tire that's missing pieces and buckled and bubbled.
So now that I've dealt with things and I cannot be a good example allow me to be a horrific warning:
Do not drive on bad tires. If you notice they're bad dont put it off until later. Later gets shuffled way too far and then you have a tire blow out on you.

just to be clear, everyone, when 8 pm EDT comes and goes, regardless of what does or does not happen, the president still threatened genocide and war crimes and we should still impeach, arrest, and try him
