I head canon Rox to be a fox-wolf hibrid with one common wolf parent with Nokt and a Fox parent. She is so fox coded: her orange fur, her small size (like Chima's fox), her smartness and cunning like fox.
"Rox" (similar to fOX) is also the french name of Tod the fox in Disney's The Fox and the Hound
