That won't happen until Blair no longer has the ear of politicians and the media, but we're close!
IRA, ISIS, Al Qaeda, UVF etc.
Saw a play with Lesley Manville and Aidan Turner in this evening and I'm not being funny but it might be the worst thing I've seen this year...
So does Lee Anderson. All sorts to criticise Sultana for but there was a very obvious difference between the way he screamed at her and how chummy and almost forgiving he was of Anderson.
Morgan M... no that's too obvious. Let's call him M McSweeeney
He's not even on manoeuvres here because he doesn't even want the job anymore so this is mildly refreshing actually
In all seriousness, prohibition has never once been effective or successful but I'm sure it'll work this time!
Eternally grinning, funless world etc etc
The only people who thought this was a good idea were the cult of New Labour zealots who have far more in common with Soviet era communists than they'd ever care to admit in that they are still completely devoted to the project and pining for its heyday
The question that should, and I suspect will, eventually, finish Starmer won't be about the vetting or what he knew or didn't know; it'll be why was Mandelson ever considered in the first place? No amount of evasion and finger pointing can answer that spectacular error of judgement
I don't like the idea of Emeli eating two spaghetti meals in one day
The curriculum is decades out of date. Pen and paper exams, textbooks, linear, didactic teaching, banning technology none of us could function without anymore. Who is this for? Certainly not the teachers or the pupils.
Like so much of what all governments do, banning phones in schools is a policy aimed at older people who don't even have school age children anymore, or never did in the first place, who have become convinced that schools are all just anarchic, lawless warzones
I suspect the government is going to get another crash course in the law of unintended consequences when pushing through overly restrictive knee-jerk policies without properly considering implications, especially, but not limited to, students with higher support needs.

hey, some of us are massive filthy perverts but would NEVER hide behind the pervert specs
It's going to be even worse the next time they appoint Peter Mandelson
The fundamental question he has to answer is whether he's a fool or a liar. When you're in that position, there's no recovering but he is surrounded by some of the worst advisors known to man, all of whom know that they go if he does, so this will just drag on until we're all dead
You're right, it rules
yes I'm glad they've all gathered around Dennis Skinner's old haunt to give him a load of grief
if you're going to stand up and do nothing but be a vacuous mouthpiece, at least have the self-respect to pretend it's a question you thought of yourself
christ, these 2024-intake Labour MPs standing up to read - as in literally read from a piece of paper, they haven't even remembered them - questions written by the whip are pathetic. A parliament of utter mediocrities.
I just don't think I can listen to his stupid fucking voice for another second though π
Where's the resignation? When are you going to resign? Why aren't you resigning now? And so on. So please: the resignation.
Chat, is it good for the Prime Minister if he gets laughed at when he says he knows his story sounds unbelievable?
I see angry Starmer sounds as nasal and boring as every other iteration of his "personality"
Keir Starmerβs wife this morning packing his angry eyes, just in case
she's cooking
gonna use this post to explain the importance of punctuation to students
