FETCH ME MY EYE BLEACH!
Ancient Greeks would be screaming at their TVs that this tragedy is way too overwrought and on the nose to be entertaining.
And the hilarious thing is Warsh is subjecting himself to this debasement knowing full well that if Trump is displeased for any reason, he’ll be thrown under the bus like everyone else stupid enough to think this ritual humiliation actually earns them anything approaching reciprocal loyalty.
There are times in my life when I’ve done things I’m not proud of. Everyone has, that’s part of being human. And those things weigh on me. But Jesus fucking Christ I’ve never publicly humiliated myself in front of millions just to earn a crumb of approval from someone as blatantly evil as Trump.
Imagine what that does to your soul. Imagine what that does to the image of yourself that you hold internally. How can you possibly be put in a critically important position of public trust when you’ve allowed yourself to be morally compromised like that for someone like Donald Trump? It’s absurd.
Imagine sitting in front of a committee of the United States Senate and deliberately humiliating yourself, your reputation, your family, and your entire career in this way in order to impress Donald Trump, a 79 year old man who every morning smears absurd orange makeup on his face.
It’ll never not amaze me the number of people and the degree to which they’re willing to publicly debase themselves to try and impress a degenerate freak like Donald Trump. There is nothing as pathetic as what these people will do to themselves for him.
Hello Fairfield County! Remember that you have two weeks left to early vote! You can vote during the week at the Board of Elections office in Lancaster, or go to your regular polling place on May 5! Make sure you get out and make your voice heard in this primary!

“The MAGA crowd is made of dumb people — like, SUPER dumb people. And they fall for it.”
For my @wired.com feature debut, I talked to Sam, a guy who made thousands of dollars on Instagram by scamming MAGA men with Emily Hart, an AI generated, Trump-loving influencer. www.wired.com/story/ai-gen...
Men like this are weak and embarrassing. They’ve allowed grifters and con men to tell them how they should feel about themselves and they’ll never understand their place in the world because of it. They have forgotten the faces of their fathers.
I just can't get past the idea that they can just fight for economic and racial justice right now if they want it. They don't have to wait for my suburban lib flattery and approval
It’s critical to note that this clip should be taken as evidence that Trump is (obviously) taking cuts of the funds being used to build his new white house ballroom, the arc, etc
Exactly.
It’s not an up front featured player. It’s in the back holding down the groove with the rhythm section.
Rose water is one of those flavors I like but it’s gotta be subtle or it makes things taste like soap.

“Cancel the 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner”

As a matter of principle, you can either have a dinner that celebrates the First Amendment or you can have a dinner that features Donald Trump. You can’t have both because the president holds the freedom of the press in contempt. www.mediamatters.org/donald-trump...
Jeffries on Kash Patel: "We have to stop putting all the blame on the people who nominated this incompetent, toxic, malignant individual. What about the people who confirmed him? It's extraordinary to me that Senate Republican confirmed people like Noem, Bondi, Hegseth, RFK Jr, and Patel."
Wikipedia: From 2009 to 2010, he clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts at the U.S. Supreme Court.
Love it when one of the clerk mafias starts cracking heads for the boss
This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read (w alt text)
We shouldn’t, it’s a red herring.
Why do I want the highest political body in the land to be an opaque cabal where I cannot understand who or what is being discussed and what the actual opinion of the Justices are, why is that a desirable system, exactly
necessary majority. It's only a longstanding culture of respect, fidelity, and trust among attorneys and court personnel that prevents these leaks from becoming a daily occurrence-and that allows courts to deliberate effectively on the law. It can only undermine that culture
The problem with Steve’s argument here is that the Court is very much already not deliberating effectively on the law, as shown by the leaks!
JFC what a dork.
Sometimes life hands you perks and you just have to accept things that are out of your control.
