I think we might be flipping the cause/effect, those are Trump-leaning districts because they’re disaffected districts… they’re getting fucked by the status quo, and the soft-sell “bipartisanship” pitch reeks of status quo. If Dems spoke to the dissatisfaction, they’d sound radical.

The problem with a two party system is that it’s possible (for a time) for the other party to not realize how much they fucking suck too. But what you see if both parties suck, is exactly what we are seeing… voters swinging back and forth between them desperately trying to find the non-sucky option.

I think we’re underestimating the degree to which she too is not a well person.
